Work Order <br />(a) All landscape items planted under this Work Order shall be under <br />full warranty coverage during the Initial Warranty Period. During <br />this time, the CONTRACTOR shall guarantee that one hundred <br />(100) percent of the planted individuals become established and <br />show signs of normal growth. The durations of the Initial Warranty <br />Period for the various plants are listed below: <br />(1) Ground Cover as Listed on the Drawings: 90 days after the <br />date of final acceptance by the OWNER. <br />(2) Littoral Plantings as Listed on the Drawings: 90 days after <br />the date of final acceptance by the OWNER. <br />(3) Trees as Listed on the Drawings (except cabbage palms): <br />180 days after the date of final acceptance by the OWNER. <br />(4) Cabbage Palms: 1 year after the date of final acceptance by <br />the OWNER. <br />(b) During the Initial Warranty Period, replace, reinstall, and maintain <br />at no expense to the OWNER, all plants that do not survive or are <br />not established or do not show signs of normal growth. The <br />OWNER's Conservation Land Manager or designated <br />representative shall determine whether or not replacement is <br />required. <br />(c) All replacement plantings shall be Florida #1 specimens and they <br />shall be installed and maintained as recommended by the supplier <br />nursery and specified herein. Coordinate any replanting with <br />County personnel. <br />2. The Remainder of the Two -Year Maintenance Period <br />(a) Beginning at the end of each Initial Warranty Period, maintain all <br />the plants at the project site until the two-year maintenance period <br />expires. During this period, the CONTRACTOR shall guarantee all <br />of the following for all the landscape items planted under this Work <br />Order: <br />(1) That eighty (80) percent of the planted individuals become <br />established and show signs of normal growth, based upon <br />standard growth parameters such as height, base diameter, <br />or canopy circumference; and <br />(2) At least eighty (80) percent cover by appropriate wetland <br />herbaceous species has been obtained, <br />(b) Replacement Plantings - All replacement plantings shall be Florida #1 <br />specimens and they shall be installed and maintained as <br />recommended by the supplier nursery and specified herein. <br />Coordinate planting with County personnel.
