�w O <br />•• <br />The Chairman then called for receipt of bids in accordance with <br />the Notice, and the following sealed bid was received, opened <br />and read: <br />Goldman and Gibson, Merritt Island, $8,541.00 <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers, it was unanimously carried that the bid be referred to <br />the Administrator for evaluation. <br />Mrs. Leiberman, State Welfare Supervisor, appeared before the <br />Board in regard to office space. After some discussion, it was <br />decided that State Welfare could use the space in the Welfare <br />Building five days a week, that they are now using two days a"month. <br />Mrs. Blanton and other citizens of Idlewild Subdivision <br />appeared before the Board in regard to drainage problems. <br />The Board then adjourned at 12:10 o'clock P. M. and reconvened <br />at 2:00 o'clock P. M. <br />Mrs. Blanton, speaking for the Citizens of Idlewild Subdivision <br />stated that they have now formed an association and would like to <br />make a new start into the problem. On a Motion made by Commissioner <br />Loy, secopded by Commissioner Massey, it was unanimously carried that <br />Mrs. Blanton and one or two other Members of the Idlewild Association, <br />the Administrator, and one or two Members of the Board of County <br />Commissioners would set.a meeting date to discuss the problem further <br />and try to come to some definite conclusion as to a solution to the <br />drainage problem in Idlewild Subdivision. <br />Mr. Bell, holding the Bell Sanitation Franchise, appeared before <br />the Board in regard to transferral of the franchise.
