rt a .Z-: R`� y c j � �• 4a�. � e«. +! r � d ..? � s � �. ti i �. -vr r _ , � <br />Homer Fletcher, County Tax Assessor appeared before the Board <br />and reported that the Board of Equalization would now consist of <br />two members of the School Board and three members of the Board of <br />County Commissioners. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Massey, the following Resolution was unanimously <br />adopted: <br />RESOLUT ION 70- 20 <br />WHEREAS, Homer Fletcher, Indian River County Tax Assessor, <br />has made a request to this.Board for the right to restrict public <br />inspection of public records held in his office"to the hours of <br />8:00 A. M. - 1:00 P. M., June 1, 1970 -t.61 the date the Board of <br />Equalization meets in July, 1970, and <br />WHEREAS, Homer Fletcher has stated that this request is <br />made to insure completion of the 1970 tax roll and <br />WHEREAS, the Tax Assessor's chief function and greatest <br />responsibility is to prepare the tax roll. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County that the public's right <br />to inspect public records in the Indian River County Tax Assessor's <br />Office is restricted to the hours of 8:00 A. M. to 1:00 P. M. <br />June 1, 1970 to the date the Board of Equalization meets in <br />July, 1970. <br />MAY 6 14,70 11 <br />
