1 . 07 CONTRACTOR ' s STAGING , STORAGE , AND STOCKPILE AREA <br /> A . The CONTRACTOR shall minimize the quantity of materials stored at the site <br /> throughout the construction period . The CONTRACTOR is responsible for properly <br /> storing and protecting the area such that adjacent residents , canals , and wetlands are not <br /> impacted . The CONTRACTOR shall be solely responsible for implementing theft <br /> prevention measures . The OWNER shall bear no responsibility for materials stolen or <br /> acts of vandalism . The cost to ftimish and install temporary fencing shall be at the sole <br /> expense of the CONTRACTOR . <br /> 1 . 08 CONNECTION TO WORK BY OTHERS OR EXISTING LINES <br /> A . None . <br /> PART 2 — PRODUCTS (NOT USED) <br /> PART 3 — EXECUTION <br /> 3 . 01 GENERAL <br /> A . The CONTRACTOR shall coordinate installation , planting and restoration work with the <br /> OWNER. Unless otherwise indicated, the CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for the <br /> sequence of the work . All work shall be performed in accordance with applicable safety <br /> rules and regulations . <br /> B . The CONTRACTOR shall take precautions to avoid damage to adjacent facilities and to <br /> limit the reconstruction activities to the extent indicated . If reconstruction beyond the <br /> scope indicated is required , the CONTRACTOR shall obtain approval from the OWNER <br /> prior to commencing work . <br /> 3 . 02 DISPOSAL <br /> A . Removal of debris , where necessary , shall minimize interference with roads , streets , <br /> walks , and other adjacent occupied or used facilities which shall not be closed or <br /> obstructed without permission from the OWNER. Alternate routes shall be provided <br /> around closed or obstructed traffic ways . <br /> B . Site debris , rubbish , and other materials resulting from installation and planting <br /> operations shall be legally removed and disposed of at the CONTRACTOR ' s expense . <br /> C . Refuse , debris, and waste materials resulting from demolition and site clearing operations <br /> shall not be burned . All refuse and waste material shall be disposed of at the IRC Landfill <br /> with the CONTRACTOR paying all transportation and disposal fees . <br /> END OF SECTION <br /> 01010 -3 <br />
