Landscaping along roadways. <br />(1) Required landscapingadiacent to ri, hits -of -way. <br />(a) A landscape buffer shall be provided along the entire length of a site's frontage <br />upon a thoroughfare plan road, local road or exclusive driveway (as defined in the <br />traffic ordinance) Within the buffer, the following landscaping shall be provided: <br />Street <br />Minimum <br />Minimum Plantings Per 100 Lineal Feet <br />Width <br />Canopy <br />Trees <br />Understory <br />Shrubs <br />Trees <br />Thoroughfare Plan <br />15 ft. <br />4_5 <br />5_5 <br />50 <br />Road, Local Road <br />20 ft. <br />4 <br />5 <br />50 <br />Exclusive Driveway <br />10 ft. <br />3.3 <br />6.6 <br />40 <br />Project sites with a depth from a thoroup-hfare plan road of four hundred (400 <br />feet or less shall have a minimum buffer depth of fifteen (15) feet. Sites with a <br />depth over four hundred (400) feet shall have a minimum buffer depth of twenty <br />(20) feet. The required depth of the thoroughfare plan road/local road buffer on <br />any site shall not exceed ten (10) percent of the depth of the site measured <br />perpendicular to the thoroughfare plan road.
