SMITH -SAID THIS INVOLVED PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING <br />STUDIES. <br />ROLAND MILLER, MAYOR OF THE TOWN OF INDIAN RIVER <br />SHORES ASKED WHY THE AUDUBON SOCIETY HAD BEEN MENTIONED IN CON- <br />NECTION WITH THE PROGRAM. <br />MR. SABIS EXPLAINED THAT EVERY SOCIETY HAVING TO DO <br />" WITH THE'ECOLOGY OF THE AREA MUST BE CONSULTED, <br />MAYOR MILLER ALSO WONDERED IF THE SEWERAGE PLAN THEY <br />HAD ALREADY DEVELOPED FOR THE TOWN OF INDIAN RIVER SHORES WOULD <br />FIT"INTO THE PROPOSED COUNTYWIDE SYSTEM. <br />DR. SMITH EXPLAINED THAT THERE MUST BE A NUMBER OF TRIALS <br />AND ERRORS AND MANY LAY -OUTS FOR SUBAREAS TO COME UP WITH AN <br />OVERALL SYSTEM AND THERE WAS NO WAY NOW TO TELL IF THEIR <br />PLAN WOULD FIT OR NOT. <br />MAYOR CRAGG OF THE TOWN OF SEBASTIAN ASKED IF THE <br />SEWER SYSTEM WOULD INCLUDE A WATER SYSTEM. <br />MR. SABIS ANSWERED THAT THIS PLAN DEALS ONLY WITH <br />SEWERAGE FACILITIES NOT WATER, BUT THE WATER SUPPLY MUST BE <br />CONSIDERED. <br />MR. SARIS STATED•THAT THE FUNDING MONEY WOULD PROBABLY <br />ONLY COVER THE TREATMENT PLANT.AND MAIN TRUNK LINES INTO IT. <br />SEBASTIAN WOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE OVERALL PLAN, BUT THIS <br />DOES NOT MEAN THE FUNDING WOULD COVER CONSTRUCTION OF THE <br />SEWER LINES IN SEBASTIAN. <br />CITY COUNCILMAN GREGG ASKED WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF THERE <br />WERE A CONFLICT OF PLANS, <br />MR.
