REQUIRES CONSIDERABLE EXPENSE TO THE DEVELOPER TO GO THROUGH ALL THE <br />STAGES REQUIRED WHICH WOULD BRING IT TO A POINT FOR THIS BOARD TO APPROVE <br />OR DENY IT, HE WOULD LIKE TO SUGGEST THAT THE BOARD THINK OF A DIFFERENT <br />APPROACH, HE SUGGESTED A DEVELOPER COMING IN WITH THE PRELIMINARY BASICS <br />THAT WOULD SHOW HIS CONCEPT OF THE PLAN AND HIS DENSITY, ANSWER ANY QUES- <br />TIONS ON WHAT HE PLANS TO DO WITH THE PROPERTY, AND AT THAT TIME GIVE HIM <br />ANSWERS IN ORDER TO SAVE THE DEVELOPER MONEY AND ALSO THE PLANNING DEPART- <br />MENT'S MONEY AND. TIME, IF THE BOARD GIVES TENTATIVE APPROVAL AND THE <br />DEVELOPER COMPLETES ALL THE REQUIREMENTS, HE CAN THEN COME BACK FOR FINAL <br />APPROVAL, <br />CHAIRMAN LOY ASKED MR, WILCOX IF HE HAD MADE THIS SUGGESTION TO <br />THE ZONING COMMISSION, AND MR, WILCOX ANSWERED THAT HE HAD, <br />MARGE THOMAS - 3025 GOLFVIEW DRIVE, APPEARED WITH SEVERAL QUES- <br />TIONS: <br />ON PAGE 10 - PARAGRAPH E - MS, THOMAS QUESTIONED THAT PORTION <br />OF THE FIFTH LINE ",,,MAY INITIATE A PETITION TO REZONE,,," STATING THAT <br />THEY HAVE 90 DAYS AND IF IT IS NOT COMPLETE IT WILL REVERT BACK TO THE <br />ORIGINAL ZONING, <br />ATTORNEY BURCH STATED THAT THIS WAS TAKEN OUT BECAUSE IT IS <br />AGAINST THE LAW, You CANNOT REVERT PROPERTY BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL ZONING: <br />MS, THOMAS STATED THAT THE SENTENCE SHOULD READ ",,,SHALL <br />INITIATE A PETITION TO REZONE,," <br />PAGE 15 - PARAGRAPH N „SUB -PARAGRAPH 2 - A PORTION OF A SENTENCE <br />HAS BEEN LEFT OUT,",,, AND SHALL BE EXTINGUISHED AT THE END OF A BUSINESS <br />DAY," <br />MR, BERG STATED THAT WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE END OF A BUSINESS <br />DAY IS, <br />MS, THOMAS STATED THAT THIS SHOULD BE IN THE ORDINANCE TO PROTECT <br />RESIDENTIAL AREAS, As A RESIDENT OF A NEARBY P,U,D „ SHE WOULD NOT WANT <br />THIS BESIDE HER, <br />Ms, THOMAS STATED THAT SHE DID NOT SEE THE NEED FOR A P.U.D. <br />ORDINANCE SINCE WE HAVE A COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN, <br />PAGE 11 - PARAGRAPH I - Ms. THOMAS QUESTIONED ARE WE NOT CREATING <br />A NEW ORDINANCE FOR HOSPITALS AND CONVALESCENT AND DO WE NEED IT IN THIS <br />ORDINANCE? <br />JUN 1 8 1975 <br />34 <br />L 0'i r <br />3 , 101 <br />
