This riser is located at the southeast corner of 17th Street and Indian River <br />Boulevard in line with the two transmission structures being installed under <br />Item I. <br />All miscellaneous removals on both sides of 17th Street and the rebuild- <br />ing of about five blocks of s.treetlighting with overhead secondary conductors <br />is included in this item. Among this miscellaneous work, in addition to the <br />removal of three existing risers described above, is the removal of a fourth <br />wood pole riser, two concrete pole risers and two spans of double circuit <br />construction located on the north side of 17th Street at the power plant and <br />used to feed the City Wastewater Treatment Plant. <br />ITEr1 III - CAUSEWAY BOULEVARD OVERHEAD DISTRIBUTION <br />On the north side of Causeway Boulevard running from highway AlA to the <br />Indian River there is an existing three-phase, 13,200 volt distribution cir- <br />cuit on wood poles and crossarms. This c:rcuit is fed from a main feeder run - <br />ping along highway AlA and becomes a part of the main line in the AlA inter- <br />section. This branch circuit, which feeds residences along Causeway Boulevard, <br />conflicts with SO.foot high streetlighting standards proposed to be installed <br />by the Florida Department of Transportation in connection with the widening <br />of Causeway Boulevard. The main feeder corner pole at AIA is also in conflict <br />with proposed paving. Concrete pole transmission line No. 69-0110 is located <br />on the south side of Causeway Boulevard. Space was left on the existing trans- <br />mission poles for underbuilding the 69,000 volt line with 13,200 volt distribu- <br />tion on horizontal post insulators. <br />This item includes the underbuilding on the transmission poles, of a new <br />two-phase 13,200 volt distribution line to replace the existing three-phase <br />line. The new primary conductors will be two 1/0 AWG AAAC with a #2 AWG, AAAC <br />neutral. Other facilities such as transformers, secondary conductors and ser- <br />vices will be transferred or replaced and the rest removed. Some new concrete <br />intermediate primary poles and some concrete secondary poles will be required. <br />#pot ?7 ;,.:356 <br />
