M <br />3. The amount of the partial payment due for the work <br />performed to date under the Design Phase shall be <br />an amount calculated in accordance with Paragraph <br />2 above, less ten peroent (10%) of the amount <br />thus determined which shall be withheld by the <br />County and less previous payments. The ten percent <br />(10%) retainage shall be reduced to five percent <br />(5%) upon completion of 500 of the Design Phase. <br />4. The five percent (5%) retainage shall be paid in <br />full to the Engineer upon delivery to and accept- <br />ance by the County of the final drawings. <br />SECTION VI - EXTRA WORK AND ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br />If the Engineer is caused extra work or expense due to changes in <br />scope of work or changes after plans are approved by the County, <br />the scope of such extra work shall be agreed to by the County <br />and the Engineer and authorized in writing by the County prior <br />to any work being performed. <br />If authorized in writing by the County, the Engineer shall furnish <br />or obtain from others Additional Services which are not considered <br />normal or customary basic services. <br />The compensation for Extra Work and Additional Services shall be <br />actual payroll costs times a factor of 2.6 for services rendered <br />by principals and employees assigned to the Project plus all <br />reimbursable expenses. <br />�L'FiK PAG 508 <br />
