Externally <br />1. Regular Recruitment Sources <br />A statement of policy and a notification of special <br />-employment needs will be directed to all regular <br />recruitment sources. <br />2. New Recruitment Sources <br />Indian River County will contact the media, employment <br />agencies and others who have special contacts with <br />women and minority groups. <br />II. The County Administrator recognizes that to accomplish equal <br />employment opportunity, Indian River County must recognize <br />its legal obligations and support the importance of this <br />program. Therefore, to accomplish this, each supervisor <br />must be held individually responsible and accountable. The <br />measure of any program is results, and•in order to obtain <br />the necessary results of our Affirmative Action Program, <br />direct responsibility is assured to the Personnel Manager, <br />who small receive full. assistance and support from all <br />supervisors. <br />E. Responsibilities for implementing the Program and assigned <br />to the Personnel Manager in the capacity of "Affirmative <br />Action Program Coordinator".
