COMMISSIONER LOY ASKED HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE TO FINISH <br />REPAIRING THE HOUSE, AND MR. GAINES FELT HE COULD DO IT BY THE END <br />OF THE YEAR, <br />ZONING DIRECTOR IIALKER INFORMED THE BOARD THAT THE HOUSE <br />IS IN SUCH A DETERIORATED CONDITION NOW THAT HE FELT IF MR, GAINES <br />SPENDS ANOTHER $10,000, HE WILL STILL HAVE ONLY A SHELL NOT SAFE <br />TO LIVE IN, AND POINTED OUT THAT MR. GAINES IS TELLING THE BOARD <br />THE SAME THINGS HE SAID IN 1970, <br />COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER NOTED THAT EIGHT YEARS IS A LONG <br />PERIOD OF TIMEjAND MR, GAINES SAID THAT HE HAD RUN INTO .HARD TIMES <br />BUT IS NOW IN A POSITION WHERE HE CAN DO THE NECESSARY WORK. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT STATED THAT HE HAS NOT SEEN THE HOUSE <br />AND WOULD LIKE TO LOOK IT OVER PERSONALLY, <br />IN FURTHER DISCUSSION, THE BOARD AGREED TO HOLD THIS MATTER <br />�- <br />OVER UNTIL THE NEXT MEETING AT 2:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />ZONING DIRECTOR NEXT DISCUSSED REMOVAL OF A HAZARDOUS <br />STRUCTURE OWNED BY FRANK WALLBERG AND STATED THAT MR, WALLBERG ALSO <br />HAD BEEN DULY•NOTIFI:ED OF THIS HEARING BY CERTIFIED MAIL. HE <br />INFORMED. THE BOARD THAT MR. I`IALLBERG HAS BEEN SENT SEVERAL NOTICES. <br />MR. 14ALLBERG WAS NOT PRESENT. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER DEESON, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SCHMUCKER; CHAIRMAN WODTKE BEING TEMPORARILY ABSENT FROM THE MEETING, <br />THE BOARD AUTHORIZED THE REMOVAL OF THE HAZARDOUS STRUCTURE OWNED BY <br />FRANK D. WALLBERG, LOCATED IN VAN BERGEN AND HENDRY SUBDIVISION, <br />TAX PARCEL 03-0010-001.9, AND INSTRUCTED THAT LIEN BE FILED AGAINST <br />THE PROPERTY FOR THE COST OF REMOVAL. <br />THE BOARD NEXT DISCUSSED THE REQUEST OF THE PROPERTY <br />APPRAISER IN REGARD TO RADIOS HE WISHES TO PURCHASE AND TIE INTO <br />THE COUNTY'S RADIO SYSTEM. IT WAS NOTED THAT THE PROPERTY APPRAISER <br />DOES HAVE IN HIS BUDGET THE MONEY NEEDED TO PURCHASE THESE UNITS. <br />36 <br />..�X/M17 <br />
