PUBLIC DISCUSSION ITEM - TOM CIANCIA – REGARDING <br />IMPACT FEES APPLIED IN VERO BEACH <br />Tom Ciancia, <br /> 395 East Temple Court SW, Vero Beach, felt the proposed impact fees <br />would be unfair. He stated that if he were to move into a development and buy an existing home, <br />there would be no impact fee; while if he were to build a home he would then have to pay such a <br />fee. He cited another example where he would buy an existing house and not be responsible for <br />impact fees while the couple purchasing a lot next door and building their own house would have <br />to pay impact fees. He requested that people who want to stay in Vero Beach get some exemption <br />or reduction in fees rather than being punished for staying in this county. <br /> NO ACTION REQUIRED OR TAKEN. <br /> <br />9.B.3.
