ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Davis, by a 3-1 vote (Vice Chairman <br />Solari absent and Commissioner Flescher opposed), the <br />Board approved to proceed with interviews of the top <br />three candidates: Alan Polackwich, Sr., and Thomas <br />Spencer, and Michael Zito. <br />There was a brief discussion regarding the coordination and scheduling of interviews, and <br />a debate regarding the format in which the questions should be asked. <br />The Board directed Director Sexton to schedule the individual/private meetings in <br />conjunction with the Commissioners' schedules. <br />12.E. STAFF UPDATE - SECTOR 3 BEACH RENOURISHMENT PROJECT <br />Jonathan Gorham, Coastal Resource Manager, gave an update on the progress of the <br />Sector 3 Beach Renourishment Project. He said the project was on schedule for permit issuance, <br />and that he was currently waiting to hear from the Regulatory Agencies.
