•ATTORNEY COLLINS CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. IT WAS VOTED ON AND <br />CARRIED WITH COMMISSIONER WODTKE VOTING IN OPPOSITION, AND COMMISSIONER <br />WODTKE WAS RE-ELECTED AS CHAIRMAN. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE TOOK OVER THE MEETING AND OPENED THE FLOOR FOR <br />NOMINATIONS FOR VICE CHAIRMAN. <br />COMMISSIONER LYONS NOMINATED COMMISSIONER DEESON AS VICE <br />CHAIRMAN. <br />COMMISSIONER DEESON DECLINED THE NOMINATION NOTING THAT IT IS <br />EXTREMELY DIFFICULT FOR HIM TO SERVE SINCE HE LIVES SO FAR IN THE NORTH <br />OF THE COUNTY. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT AGREED THAT THE POSITION OF CHAIRMAN AND <br />VICE CHAIRMAN REQUIRE SOMEONE READILY ACCESSIBLE TO THE COURTHOUSE. <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />DEESON, TO NOMINATE COMMISSIONER LOY FOR THE POSITION OF VICE CHAIRMAN. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER LYONS, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />$IEBERT, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY CLOSED THE NOMINATIONS. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. IT WAS VOTED ON AND <br />CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY, AND COMMISSIONER Loy WAS RE-ELECTED VICE CHAIRMAN. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE STATED THAT THERE ARE TWO POSITIONS WHICH THE <br />BOARD NEEDS TO MAKE OFFICIAL DECISIONS ON, AND THEY ARE THE COUNTY ADMIN- <br />ISTRATOR AND THE COUNTY ATTORNEY. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER LYONS, <br />THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY REAPPOINTED JACK G. JENNINGS AS COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR <br />' FOR THE ENSUING YEAR, <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER DEESON, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />LYONS, TO REAPPOINT GEORGE G. COLLINS, JR. AS ATTORNEY TO THE BOARD OF• <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FOR THE ENSUING YEAR. <br />DISCUSSION FOLLOWED, AND CHAIRMAN WODTKE STATED THAT THE BOARD <br />SHOULD CONSIDER A POSSIBLE CHANGE IN THE MANNER OF THE COUNTY ATTORNEY'S <br />EMPLOYMENT WITH THE COUNTY SINCE IT MAY BE PREFERABLE TO PUT IT ON A <br />CONTRACT BASIS TO SATISFY OUR PROBLEMS WITH THE AUDITORS..
