Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously awarded <br />the Bid to SPS Contracting, Inc., as the lowest most <br />responsive and responsible bidder meeting the <br />specifications as set forth in the Invitation to Bid. The <br />Board also approved the Sample Agreement and authorized <br />the Chairman to execute said Agreement when required <br />performance and payment bonds have been submitted <br />along with appropriate Certificate of Insurance and the <br />County Attorney has approved the agreement as to form <br />and legal sufficiency, all as recommended in the <br />memorandum of January 29, 2007. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />11.J.4 VERO VILLAGE DEVELOPER'S AGREEMENT FOR <br />OFF-SITE 8 -INCH WATER MAIN AND 6 -INCH SEWER <br />FORCE MAIN CONSTRUCTION ON 37TH STREET WEST OF <br />58TH AVENUE <br />Utilities Director Erik Olson presented this item as a standard Developer's <br />Agreement where the Developer either pays 100% or we get reimbursed through line extension <br />fees. He provided background on the matter by recapping his memorandum of January 17, 2007 <br />and asked the Board to approve staffs recommendation. <br />Director Olson also responded to questions from Commissioner O'Bryan regarding <br />associated costs and whether the fees were fixed. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner O'Bryan, SECONDED by <br />February 6, 2007 46 <br />
