Commissioner Solari asked how many people were employed at Fred Fox <br />Enterprises, Inc. and David Fox (representing the Company), informed him that there were <br />currently six employees. The Commissioner declared that the $200,000 seemed like a <br />substantial amount of money, and he established his preference to have price comparisons <br />included in the backup information, so comparisons could be made on both qualifications and <br />price. <br />Director Keating provided further details on the three bids which were received as <br />a result of the County's Request for Proposals (RFP), and stated that staff had looked at price as <br />well as performance and other criteria which were in the RFP's. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner O'Bryan, SECONDED <br />by Chairman Davis, the Board unanimously approved the <br />proposed contract with Fred Fox Enterprises, Inc. for <br />administration of the County's Neighborhood Stabilization <br />Program Community Development Block Grant (NSP <br />CDBG). <br />Director Keating provided background on staff's recommendation to designate the <br />AHAC as the County's Citizen Advisory Task Force (CATF) for the NSP CDBG. He suggested <br />that due to conflicts of interest, AHAC Committee Members Andy Bowler, Julianne Price, and <br />Alan Green, should not participate on the Citizen's Advisory Task Force, adding that they would <br />remain on the AHAC in its normal capacity. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner O'Bryan, <br />SECONDED by Chairman Davis, for discussion, to <br />approve staff's recommendation for the AHAC to create a <br />March 3, 2009 32 <br />
