x: <br />1 <br />1.6 Pay from the general funds or any other funds under the control <br />the Board of County Commissioners except those by terms of this <br />Contract, for routine and ordinary fees, salaries, and expenses <br />the District Medical Examiner. <br />1.7 Provide the COMMISSION an annual.report identifying total funds <br />expended or encumbered for Medical Examiner Services on forms <br />provided by the COMMISSION (exhibit A) specifying: <br />a. Salaries and/or fees for service <br />b. Transportation <br />c. Facilities and equipment <br />d. Administrative costs <br />e. Other related expenses <br />1.8 Return of Funds: <br />of <br />of <br />Any funds, or part thereof, not expended for the aforementioned services <br />shall be considered COMMISSION funds, and shall be returned to the <br />COMMISSION. Any funds improperly expended in violation of this Contract <br />or State requirements, or any funds incorrectly expended shall be <br />returned in full to the COMMISSION. <br />1.9 Comply with Title VI and VII, Civil Rights Act of 1964: <br />a. To comply with Title VI and VII, Civil Rights Act of 1964 <br />(42 USC 2000d), Executive Order No. 11246, entitled "Equal <br />Employment Opportunity", as supplemented in Department of <br />Labor Regulations (41 CFR Part 60), and Federal Regulations <br />concerning non-discrimination because of mental and physical <br />handicaps. <br />b. In the event of the COUNTY'S non-compliance with the require- <br />ments of this clause, the Contract may be terminated or suspended <br />in whole or in part. <br />1.10 Monitoring: <br />To permit the DEPARTMENT to monitor the activities on the COUNTY <br />according to applicable regulations of the Federal and State <br />Governments. <br />1.11 Retention of Records: <br />Retain all financial records, supporting documents, statistical <br />records, and any other documents pertinent to this Contract for <br />a period of three (3) years after starting date of the applicable <br />retention period, or if audit findings have not been resolved at <br />the end.of five (5) year period, the records shall be retained <br />until resolution of the audit findings. Persons duly authorized <br />by the COMMISSION shall have full access to, and the right to <br />examine any of said materials during Contract period. <br />-2- <br />ROOK 1 pnr-453 <br />SEP 51979 <br />
