DEC <br />1919 79 <br />BooK <br />42 <br />fAcc 336 <br />WILL <br />MEET ALL DOT STANDARDS. <br />ADDITIONALLY, THEY WOULD <br />LIKE <br />TO <br />UPGRADE THE LANDSCAPING IN THE MEDIAN STRIP WEST OF THE RAILROAD <br />AND ACROSS FROM THE 7-11 STORE, AND ALSO WANT TO PUT IN SOME TREES <br />AND SHRUBS IN THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY IN FRONT OF THE HOUSES FOR A <br />DISTANCE OF APPROXIMATELY 1,000'. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE NOTED THAT HE HAS HAD A LOT OF CONCERN BY <br />PROPERTY OWNERS ABOUT THE BLIND CORNER AND THE ROAD COMING UP OVER <br />THE HILL. HE NOTED THE SHRUBBERY WOULD HAVE TO BE REAL LOW. <br />MR. SWENSON STATED THEY DO NOT WANT TO ENDANGER ANYONE'S <br />SAFETY AND ANY LANDSCAPING THEY WOULD DO ALONG THE RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />WOULD MEET ALL VISIBILITY REQUIREMENTS. HE NOTED THAT THEY MADE A <br />PRESENTATION ABOUT THIS SAME MATTER TO THE BOARD SEVERAL YEARS AGO, <br />BUT AT THAT TIME THEY HAD ADDITIONAL PROPOSALS, AND THEY ARE NOT <br />NOW PLANNING TO HAVE A STRUCTURE IN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE NOTED THAT THE MEDIAN WOULD PRESENT A <br />PROBLEM FOR TRAFFIC LEAVING THE 7-11 STORE AND DESIRING TO GO TO <br />THE EAST. <br />MR. SWENSON AGREED THAT COULD BE A PROBLEM. HE NOTED <br />THE SITE PLAN PRESENTED IS ONLY AN ARTIST'S DRAWING, AND THE MEDIAN <br />MIGHT CAUSE TOO MUCH PROBLEM TO BE WARRANTED, HE CONTINUED THAT THEY <br />HAVE DISCUSSED THEIR DEVELOPMENT PLANS WITH THE 7-11 PEOPLE AND HAVE <br />MET WITH THEIR ARCHITECTS. <br />COMMISSIONER LOY ASKED IF THERE ARE ENTRANCES OUT FROM THE <br />7-11 ONTO OLD DIXIE, AND MR. REVER STATED THERE IS JUST A LARGE <br />OPENING. <br />SHRUBBERY. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE INQUIRED ABOUT PLANS FOR MAINTAINING THE <br />MR. SWENSON STATED THAT HE HAS SUBMITTED A DRAFT DOCUMENT <br />RE MAINTENANCE TO THE BOARD'S ATTORNEY. GENERAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORA- <br />TION WILL MAINTAIN ALL THE IMPROVEMENTS, BOTH ON THEIR OWN PROPERTY <br />AND IN THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR AT LEAST THREE YEARS. THEY WILL <br />CREATE A PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION THAT FUTURE PROPERTY BUYERS IN <br />32 <br />
