This scenario assumes that the county <br />chooses to install an observation well because no suitable <br />existing well can be found. <br />Task 1-- Preparation of Specifications and <br />Contractor's Proposal Form $5,000 <br />Task 2-- Compilation of Well, Permit and <br />User Inventory 3,700 <br />Task 3-- Drilling of One Production Well <br />and One Observation Well and <br />Associated Testing 25,700 <br />Task 4-- Reduction of Data and <br />Preparation of Reports 7,700 <br />Task 5-- Project Meetings, Conferences <br />and Related Work 2,900 <br />The total cost for hydrogeologic consulting services for <br />Scenario II is estimated at $45,000. Associated contractor's <br />charges for drilling and testing of one production well and <br />one observation well are estimated at $65,000 to $115,000. <br />Scenario III-- Drilling and testing of one production well (with - <br />deep zone monitoring tube) and second production well (to be <br />used as observation well during testing).
