JAN 91980 BOOK -.42 FicE 428 <br />OUTSIDE OF THE CITY LIMITS, HAS BEEN DIVIDED AT THE INTERCOASTAL <br />WATERWAY, AND THE PEOPLE WILL VOTE AT ST. EDWARDS UPPER SCHOOL; <br />AND IT WILL BE KNOWN AS PRECINCT 5D. <br />SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS RICHEY REPORTED THAT THE CITY <br />COUNCIL IN FELLSMERE REQUESTED THE VOTING PLACE BE CHANGED FROM THE <br />FELLSMERE CITY HALL TO THE FELLSMERE COMMUNITY CENTER. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS THOUGHT IT WAS NECESSARY TO PUBLISH THE <br />CHANGE IN LOCATION, AND MRS. RICHEY REPLIED AFFIRMATIVELY. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER LYONS, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />DEESON, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE RECOMMENDATIONS BY THE <br />SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS OF THE PRECINCT CHANGES AND CHANGE IN <br />LOCATION FOR THE VOTING PLACE IN FELLSMERE. <br />MRS. RICHEY DISCUSSED PUTTING THE FIRE DISTRICT ON THE <br />BALLOTS, AND REQUESTED A MAP FROM THE ATTORNEY OF THE FIRE DISTRICT <br />TO ENABLE HER TO KNOW WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO VOTE. <br />MRS. RICHEY NEXT INQUIRED WHEN WORK ON THE WAREHOUSE WOULD <br />BE COMPLETED. <br />ADMINISTRATOR JENNINGS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT THE ROOF <br />OF THE WAREHOUSE HAS BEEN COMPLETED. <br />DISCUSSION FOLLOWED ABOUT MOVING THE VOTING MACHINES AND <br />CLEANING OUT THE AREA, AND DESIGNATING SOMEONE TO KEEP THE AREA <br />CLEAN, AND ADMINISTRATOR JENNINGS STATED HIS CREW WOULD TAKE CARE <br />OF IT WITH THE COOPERATION OF THE MAN IN MRS, RICHEY'S DEPARTMENT. <br />ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR NELSON REPORTED THAT THE FLOORS ARE <br />BEING WORKED ON NOW. HE THEN DISCUSSED THE POSSIBILITIES OF USING <br />EITHER A DEHUMIDIFIER OR AN AIR CONDITIONER IN THE WAREHOUSE, AND <br />RECOMMENDED USING AN AIRCONDITIONER. <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT COMMENTED THAT WE MUST DO ALL WE CAN TO <br />PROTECT THE VOTING MACHINES, AND GET THEM IN THE PROPER LOCATION <br />TO PROVIDE ROOM TO WORK ON THEM. HE SUGGESTED FURTHER INVESTIGATION <br />OF THE DEHUMIDIFIER AND AIR CONDITIONER AND REQUESTED A REPORT TO <br />THAT EFFECT. <br />THE HOUR OF 9:30 O'CLOCK A.M.
