<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />6.A <br />GGREGATE <br /> <br />Administrator Baird announced that the aggregate millage is 6.0885%, 2.4% above <br />rollback and 6.8% below the current aggregate millage. <br /> <br />6. SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT BUDGET (NON-AD <br />VALOREM SPECIAL DISTRICT) – RESOLUTION NOS. <br />2004-114 (ASSESSMENT RATE) AND 2004-115 (BUDGET) <br /> <br />Chairman Ginn announced the proposed charges and budget as set forth in the motions <br />below and noted the percentage decreases for each proposed charge. <br />Administrator Baird advised the budget changed only $149,385 more than last year or <br />1.4%. There is one less position in this budget. The major reasons for the increases are health <br />insurance ($28,620) and COLA and step plan increases ($103,074). <br /> <br />Chairman Ginn opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard in this <br />matter. There were none and she closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Lowther, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution No. 2004-114 establishing the assessment rate <br />to be levied upon all real taxable property in Indian River <br />County, Florida, for fiscal year 2004-2005 for the Solid <br />Waste Disposal District. ($46.86 per Residential WGU <br />\[$74.98 House\]; $31.89 per Commercial WGU; and $20.02 <br />Readiness-to-Use Fee.) <br />September 22, 2004 <br />8 <br /> <br />
