MOTION WAS AMENDED by Commissioner Flescher, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Davis, to authorize the <br />Sheriff the ability to approve the transfer of funds within <br />his Budget. <br />A lengthy discussion/debate ensued regarding the Budget process, reductions, <br />transferring money from one category to another, being transparent, standards and policy, and <br />accountability. <br />After Attorney Polackwich and Director Brown explained the concept and rules <br />governing the transfer of funds within categories, the Commissioners decided that the action of <br />amending the Budget should be after the formal Budget is adopted. <br />MOTION WAS AMENDED by Commissioner Flescher, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Davis, to TABLE this <br />Item until the Budget is adopted on September 15, 2010. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the <br />Motion carried. <br />10.
