Public Works Director or Designee - The Public Works Director shall <br />be defined as the Director of the Department of Public Works within <br />Indian River County or his Designee which may include the Indian <br />River County Traffic Engineer. <br />Pump Stations - Mechanical devices used to pump sewage through the <br />collection network (force mains) for the purpose of transporting <br />the untreated wastewater to the treatment plant. <br />Recreational Facility - A facility designated for recreational <br />purposes. <br />Recreation Tract - A tract of land within a residential development <br />either designated on a plan or final plat approved by the county <br />for recreational use(s) or used for recreational purposes and <br />containing recreation -related improvements. <br />Recreational Vehicle - A vehicular, portable structure which is <br />built on a chassis; which is designed as a temporary dwelling for <br />travel and Fecreation, and which has a transportable body width not <br />exceeding eight (8) body feet and a length not exceeding thirty- <br />five (35) feet. <br />Recreational Vehicle Park - A place set aside and offered by a <br />person or public body, for either direct or indirect remuneration <br />of the owner, lessor, or operator of such place, for the parking <br />and accommodation of recreational vehicles utilized for sleeping <br />or eating; and the term also includes buildings and sites set aside <br />for group camping and similar recreational facilities. <br />Recyclable Materials - Materials separated, at the point of <br />generation, by the generator or his agent, and donated or sold by <br />the generator for the purpose of recycling; including newsprint, <br />cardboard, aluminum, glass, plastic, and ferrous metals. <br />Recycling - Any process by which solid waste, or materials which <br />would otherwise become solid waste, are collected, separated, or <br />processed and reused or returned to use in the form of raw <br />materials or products. <br />Recycling Plant - A facility that is not a junkyard and in which <br />recoverable resources, such as newspapers, magazines, books, and <br />other paper products; glass; metal cans; and other products, are <br />recycled, reprocessed, and treated to return such products to a <br />condition in which they may again be used for production. <br />Regularly Moored Watercraft - Any watercraft vessel habitually or <br />methodolically moored or anchored in the same general location for <br />a continual period greater than seventy-two (72) hours or any <br />watercraft vessel which is habitually or methodically moored or <br />anchored in the same general location for a total of four (4) days <br />within any given seven (7) day period. <br />Regulatory Floodway - The channel of a river or other watercourse <br />and the adjacent land areas that must be reserved in order to <br />62 <br />
