1.07 STORAGE AND PROTECTION <br />A. Store products in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, with <br />seals and labels intact and legible. <br />B. Store sensitive products in weather -tight enclosures; maintain within <br />temperatures and humidity ranges recommended/required by <br />manufacturer's instructions. <br />C. For exterior storage of fabricated products, place on sloped supports <br />above ground. Cover products subject to deterioration with impervious <br />sheet covering; provide ventilation to avoid condensation. <br />D. Store loose granular materials on solid surfaces in a well -drained area; <br />prevent mixing with foreign matter. <br />E. Arrange storage to provide access for inspection. Periodically inspect to <br />assure products are undamaged, and are maintained under required <br />conditions. <br />F. After installation, provide coverings to protect products from damage <br />from traffic and construction operations, remove when no longer <br />needed. <br />1.08 PRODUCT OPTIONS <br />A. Within 30 days after date of Contract, submit complete list of major <br />products proposed, with name of manufacturer, trade name and model. <br />B. Options: <br />1. Products specified only be reference standard: Any product <br />meeting that standard. <br />2. Product specified by naming several manufacturers: Product of <br />any named manufacturer meeting specifications. <br />3. Products specified by naming one or more manufacturers and <br />"or equal": Submit a request for substitution for any <br />manufacturer not specifically named. <br />1.09 SUBSTITUTIONS <br />A. Only within 30 days after date of Contract will Engineer consider <br />requests from Contractor for substitutions.
