SECTION 01700 <br />CONTRACT CLOSEOUT <br />PART 1 -- GENERAL <br />1.01 REQUIREMENTS INCLUDED <br />A• Comply with requirements stated in General and Special Conditions of the <br />Contract and in Specifications for administrative procedures in closing out the <br />work. <br />B. Related requirements in other parts of the Contract Documents: <br />1. Fiscal provisions, legal submittals, and additional administrative <br />requirements; <br />General Conditions of the Documents: <br />a. Paragraph 6.19 —Record Documents <br />b. Paragraph 14.11— Final Inspection <br />C. Paragraph 14.8 —Substantial Completion <br />d. Paragraph 14.12 — Application for Final Payment <br />e. Paragraph 14.13 — Final Payment and Acceptance <br />f. Paragraph 13.1 — Guarantee of Work <br />C. Related requirements specified in other sections: <br />1. Section 01710: Cleaning <br />2. Section 01720: Project Record Documents <br />3. Section 01740: Warranties and Bonds <br />1.02 SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION <br />A• When Contractor considers his work is substantially complete, he shall submit <br />to Engineer: <br />1. A written notice that the work, or designated portion thereof, is <br />substantially complete. <br />2. A list of items to be completed or corrected. <br />B. Within a reasonable time after receipt of such notice, Engineer will make an <br />inspection to determine the status of completion. <br />C. Should Engineer determine that the work is not substantially complete: <br />1.
