BARBARA NOLTE, PRESIDENT OF THE HUMANE SOCIETY, CAME <br />BEFORE THE BOARD URGING APPROVAL OF THE REQUESTED REZONING. <br />THE CHAIRMAN ASKED IF ANYONE PRESENT WISHED TO BE HEARD. <br />THERE WERE NONE. <br />ON MOTION.BY COMMISSIONER WODTKE, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SCURLOCK, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY CLOSED THE PUBLIC HEARING. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER FLETCHER, SECONDED BY COMMIS- <br />SIONER SCU�LOCK, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED ORDINANCE 81-15 <br />APPROVING THE REZONING TO M-1 TO ENABLE THE HUMANE SOCIETY TO USE <br />THIS PROPERTY FOR AN ANIMAL SHELTER. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 81-15 <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to <br />rezone the hereinafter described property and pursuant thereto held <br />a public hearing in relation thereto, at which parties in interest <br />and citizens were heard; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning Ordinance of Indian <br />River County, Florida, and the accompanying Zoning Map, be amended <br />as follows: <br />1. That the Zoning Map be changed in order that the <br />following described property situated in Indian River <br />County, Florida, to -wit: <br />The North 5 acres of the East 10 acres of Tract 10, <br />Section 28, Township 32 South, Range 39 East, less <br />Canal R/W, said property lying and being in Indian <br />River County, Florida <br />Be changed from LM -1 Light Manufacturing District to <br />M-1 Industrial District. <br />All with the meaning and intent and as set forth <br />and descri-bed in said Zoning'Regulations. <br />This Ordinance shall take effect April 20, 1981. <br />W <br />4L <br />
