r JUL 15191 <br />RESOLUTION No. 81-44 <br />enc ;x.15 pnp 840 <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY; DECLARING A NEED <br />FOR THE AUTHORITY TO FUNCTION WITHIN INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY ON MOTION BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS- <br />SIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY; DESIGNATING MEMBERS <br />OF THE AUTHORITY, APPOINTING MEMBERS BY DISTRICT; <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA: <br />SECTION 1. This Resolution is adopted pursuant to the <br />provisions of Chapter 159, Parts 2 and 3, Florida Statutes, <br />as amended, and other applicable laws. <br />SECTION 2,. It is hereby found, ascertained, determined <br />and declared that on the Commission's own motion a need exists <br />within Indian River County for an Industrial Development Authority <br />to promote the development and financing of industry in the County. <br />SECTION 3. The Board of County Commissioners designates the <br />Board as the Indian River County Industrial Development Authority <br />with the Commissioner from District 1 initially serving a term of <br />one (1) year, the Commissioner from District 2 serving a term of <br />two (2) years, the Commissioner from District 3 serving a term of <br />three (3) years and the Commissioners from Districts 4 and 5, <br />serving terms of four (4) years. Thereafter terms will be for <br />four (4) years each. The Authority shall follow procedural <br />requirements of Chapter 159 Florida Statutes (1979). <br />SECTION 4.
