(a) Colleges, universities, and technical/vocational <br />schools. One (1) space per three (3) seats of <br />classroom seating capacity. <br />(b) High schools. Six (6) spaces for each classroom <br />plus one (1) space per each teaching, <br />administrative or staff position. <br />(c) Junior high and elementary schools. One (1) <br />space per each classroom plus one (1) space per <br />each teaching, administrative or staff position. <br />(d) Business schools. One (1) space for each three <br />(3) seats of classroom capacity. <br />(30) <br />Single-family dwellings. Two (2) spaces for each <br />dwelling unit which will be exempted from all other <br />requirements in sub -sections (b) through (f) and <br />- <br />uncovered parking spaces will be exempted from <br />the front setback requirements. <br />(31) <br />Shuffleboard courts. Four (4) spaces per five <br />(5) courts. <br />(32) <br />Swimming pools. Twenty (20) spaces per average <br />size swimming pool (approximately 75 feet by 45 feet <br />in size). <br />(33) <br />Tennis courts. Three (3) spaces per court. <br />(34) <br />Theaters. <br />(a) Single theaters. One (1) space per three (3) <br />seats. <br />(b) Multi-plex theaters. One (1) space per four (4) <br />seats. In shopping centers having over 50,000 <br />square feet of retail sales use and providing <br />one (1) space per two hundred (200) square feet <br />of gross floor area for those retail uses, <br />multi-plex theaters shall provide parking <br />according to the following standards: <br />Gross Retail Area Parking Standard <br />25,000 - 49,999 1 space per 5 seats <br />50,000 - 79,999 sq. ft. 1 space per 6 seats <br />80,000 - 99,999 sq. ft. 1 space per 7 seats <br />100,000 sq. ft. & over 1 space per 8 seats <br />(35) <br />veterinary hospitals or boarding kennels. One (1) <br />space per three hundred (300) square feet of gross <br />building area excluding animal runs. Grassed parking <br />spaces may be installed up to fifty (50) percent of <br />the required number of spaces upon approval of the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission for that portion of <br />the required parking that is intermittant. <br />(36) <br />Other uses. Off-street parking requirements for any <br />use not specifically mentioned in this section shall <br />be the same as for the most similar use listed. <br />(b) General parking standards. <br />(1) <br />A site may utilize parking spaces of an abutting <br />property provided that the abutting property has <br />excess parking spaces per this Section's <br />requirements, the site being developed provides <br />on-site a minimum of twenty-five percent (25%) of its <br />required parking spaces, a common access easement <br />agreement is executed by all applicable parties and <br />provided at the time of site plan application, and <br />that such agreement provides for perpetual access and <br />use of the abutting property's parking spaces and <br />access drives/aisles. <br />-4- <br />
