3) 48th Avenue in Glendale Lakes Subdivision - Length of Project approx. <br />1300 l.f. - approx cost $26,000. ✓ <br />4) 47th Avenue in Glendale Lakes - length of Project approx. 1000 l.f. - <br />approxim,ate cost $20,000. <br />Tile residents of 44th avenue south of Walker Avenue sub;niitted a petition <br />in :March, 1981, prior to adoption of th,e new ordinance. It is anticipated that <br />they will submit a now petition under the neer Ordinance 1';'81-27 soon. <br />The total estimated cost to pave the four roads for which we have received <br />valid petitions to date is approximately $61,981.88 ($46,486.41 to be paid by <br />benefitted owners, $15,495.47 to be paid by the County) <br />The November 30, 1981 unencumbered Balance of Road and Bridge Department <br />Materials Accotm t #004-214-541-35.39 is $54.6,779.00. The funds available in this account can <br />be applied to petition paving projects. <br />An evaluation foan (copy attached) to assign priority rating to the petition <br />paving requests has been prepared by the National Association of Coiuity Engineers. <br />The staff recommends using this form with minor changes to evaluate priority. <br />The staff is researching the interest rate to be applied to time payments. <br />A report will be presented to the Board during the Jan. 6, 1982 meetinff. <br />0 <br />RECO.M-NEVDATIONS JLND FUNDING <br />Based upon an unencumbered balance (Nov. 30, 1981) of $546,7'9, in Account <br />7004-214-541-35.39 Road and Bridge Department Materials account, it is recd:ended <br />that $65,000. be set aside for tl,e Petition Paving Program from said account. <br />TI;is amount will provide seed money for the four projects now petitioned.
