Therefore, it is recommended that the Board award this bid to the only bidder, <br />Ft. Pierce Dodge. Thn-re is $9500.00 budgeted for this vehicle from Account NL.„,ber <br />;`102-214-541-66-42. <br />Administrator Nelson responded to the unanswered <br />questions concerning this bid from the last meeting. He <br />advised that this vehicle is made only with 8 cylinders. <br />The Administrator had checked the State bid list and he <br />could not get any deviation, as this was a standard list. <br />Also, Fred Coyne Chevrolet was not asked to bid as there was <br />a conflict of interest - the County's Purchasing Agent's <br />husband is an employee there. <br />Commissioner Fletcher was under the impression <br />that a vehicle could be made to have any size cylinder. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Lyons, seconded by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, that the Board accept the lowest and <br />best bid for a one ton crew cab pickup truck, in the amount <br />of $9,325.90, from Ft. Pierce Dodge, using Account No. <br />102-214-541-66-42. <br />The Chairman called for the question. It was <br />voted on and carried with a vote of 4 to 1, with <br />Commissioner Fletcher voting in opposition. <br />Bid Recommendation #108 <br />The Board reviewed the following bid: <br />43 <br />
