MAR 3 1982 <br />On Motion by Commissioner Wodtke, seconded by <br />Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously accepted the <br />Section 8 Housing Assistance Program Audit Report. <br />H. Bentwood Terrace Subdivision - Bond <br />The Board reviewed the following memorandum dated <br />February 18, 1982: <br />TO: The Honorable Members of the DATE: Fetruary 18, 1982 FILE: <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />SUBJECT: Request for Release of Maintenance <br />Bond - Bentwood Terrace Subdivision <br />FRCI. Neil --A. Nelson, REFERENCES: James E. Sabon'John to Board of <br />County Administrator LETTER: County Commissioners dated Feb. 12, <br />1982 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On March 18, 1981, Mr. James Sabonjohn, developer of Bentwood Terrace <br />Subdivision located north of 4th Street at 39th Avenue, submitted a $300. <br />cash maintenance bond for seeding the swales. This bond was submitted as <br />a condition to Final Plat Approval. By copy of the above referenced letter, <br />the owner is requesting release of the $300. bond since seeding has germinated. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Inspection by the Public Works Department on Feb. 18, 1982 revealed <br />that seeding has sufficiently germinated. The alternatives include <br />1) Approving release of the $300. cash maintenance bond <br />2) Deny request to release bond. <br />Since germination is complete, there is no reason to deny this request. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends release of the $300. cash maintenance bond for Bent- <br />wood Terrace Subdivision. Funding to be from the County's Escrow account. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Wodtke, seconded by <br />Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously approved the <br />request for release of maintenance bond for Bentwood Terrace <br />Subdivision. <br />14 <br />
