dunes through the break in the fence, which is on FIT <br />property. <br />Commissioner Wodtke stated he was very much in favor of <br />what Mr. Caminiti wanted to do but he did not know if it were <br />possible without causing damage to the dunes. <br />Commissioner Fletcher pointed out that Mr. Caminiti was <br />asking the Board for permission to cross over land that they <br />did not own. <br />Commissioner Bird suggested that Mr. Caminiti get <br />together on the site with someone from the Audubon Society, <br />and come back to the Board with a plan. <br />Commissioner Wodtke noted that since the boats they <br />would have to lift over the dunes weigh approximately 350 <br />pounds, perhaps a crane could life the boats over the dunes <br />and they could be launched at Jaycee Beach. <br />MOTION was made by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird, to table this discussion. <br />THE VICE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and the vote was 2 to 2, <br />with Commissioners Bird and Wodtke voting in <br />favor, and Commissioner Lyons and Vice Chairman <br />Fletcher voting in opposition. <br />Acting Administrator Hardin interjected that one of the <br />reasons it was on the Agenda today was that there would not <br />be enough time for Mr. Caminiti to notify the people <br />associated with the regatta. <br />JUN 16 1982 eqq�.,- <br />30 <br />
