<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN thatthe Board
<br />of County Commissioners of Indian River
<br />County, Florida, is reviewing the feasibility of
<br />making the following changes and additions to
<br />the Zoning Ordinance of Indian River County,
<br />Florida, which changes and additions are
<br />substantially as follows:
<br />1. That the Zoning Map be changed in order
<br />that the following described property situated
<br />North of the intersection of S.R. 60 and 78th
<br />Avenue, lying directly east of Westgate Colony
<br />Subdivision, in Indian River County, Florida,
<br />to -wit:
<br />East 10 acres of Tract 6, Section 1, Township
<br />33 South, Range 38 East, Indian River Farms,
<br />Subdivision, Indian River County, Florida.
<br />Be changed from R-3 Multiple Dwelling
<br />District and A- Agricultural Dirstrict to R-20,.
<br />Multiple -Family District.
<br />The Board of County Commissioners will'
<br />conduct a public hearing regarding the appeal
<br />by the applicant of the decision by the Plan-
<br />ning and Zoning Commission to recommend
<br />disapproval of the rezoning request. The public
<br />hearing, at which parties in interest and
<br />citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard,
<br />will be held by said Board of County Com-
<br />missioners in the County Commission
<br />Chambers of the County Administration
<br />Building, located at 1840 25th Street,. Vero,.
<br />Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, June 16, 1982,
<br />at 1:30 p.m.. .
<br />If any person decides to appeal any decision
<br />made on the above matter, he will need a
<br />r record of the proceedings, and for such pur-
<br />poses, he may need to ensure that a verbatim
<br />record of the proceedings is made, which in-
<br />cludes testimony and evidence upon which the
<br />appeal is based.

<br />Planner Dennis Ragsdale informed the Board that
<br />Mr. Childers has written Planning Manager Art Challacombe
<br />requesting consideration of rescheduling this public hearing
<br />since he had learned one of the Commissioners would not be
<br />present for the hearing. He understood readver-
<br />tisement would be necessary and is prepared to pay any costs
<br />necessary because this appeal is very important to him and
<br />he feels it should be heard by the full Commission.
