Mr. Vickers stated that he stays in very close <br />touch with any complaints, and he is not aware of Mr. <br />Goldberg calling in from Breezy Village either recently or <br />in quite some time. He noted that at the other rate <br />hearings they had various people coming back with problems; <br />they addressed those problems and he believed those people <br />are not here tonight. Mr. Vickers stated that he would be <br />happy to deal with any reception problems that anyone has <br />and felt the fact that those same people aren't here is that <br />they have seen some improvement and no longer feel a need to <br />complain. <br />Commissioner Lyons inquired what channels Jones <br />Intercable provides on their system, and Mr. Vickers listed <br />the following: <br />Channel 2 <br />Channel 3 <br />Channel 4, CBN <br />Channel 5, WPTV <br />Channel 6, CPX from Orlando <br />Channel 7, TBS <br />Channel 8, Fort Pierce <br />Channel 9, Orlando <br />Channel 10, PBS <br />Channel 11, (This is 44, and as soon as <br />the new Channel 43 is available <br />from the Melbourne area, it will <br />replace 11.) <br />Channel 13, Cable News Network <br />Commissioner Lyons inquired which channels Mr. Vickers <br />felt will be of marginal quality no matter what is done, and <br />Mr. Vickers stated Channel 44, which they hope to replace <br />shortly, and Channel 5. He noted they had problems with <br />Channel 9, but they replaced some equipment and he believed <br />the people should see some improvement in the picture. <br />In discussion, it was noted that Channel 2 presents <br />reception problems in the City of Vero Beach. A lady in the <br />audience complained that the pictures now being shown on the <br />two TV's running in the Community Center were fuzzy. Mr. <br />Vickers displayed all channels for the Board and the <br />24 <br />
