-51- <br />together than three hundred thirty (330) <br />feet or as approved by the Public Works <br />• <br />Division. <br />(7) <br />The first point of access to a marginal <br />access road from a primary collector or <br />arterial street shall be at least three <br />hundred and thirty (330) feet from the <br />intersecting right-of-way lines of <br />arterials as shown on the Indian River <br />County Thoroughfare Plan with subsequent <br />intervening access points being at least <br />six hundred and sixty (660) feet from the <br />intersecting right-of-way lines, unless <br />otherwise approved by the Public Works <br />Director and the Community Development <br />Director. <br />(8) <br />Median access points on arterial roads <br />shall be allowed only at intersections of <br />other arterial roads or of collector <br />roads. Deceleration lanes may be <br />required. Additional access points may be <br />permitted if deemed necessary by the <br />Public Works Division. <br />(9) <br />On any arterial or primary collector road, <br />the required road right-of-way width may <br />be increased by twelve (12) feet, if <br />deemed necessary by the Public Works <br />Director, within one hundred fifty (150) <br />feet of the intersection with another <br />arterial or primary collector to permit <br />proper intersection design or <br />improvements. <br />(f) Dedication to Public Required. All streets <br />shall be either dedicated to the public or dedicated to and <br />maintained by a private <br />homeowner's association.
