etc. shall be installed where necessary. Slopes steeper than <br />three (3) horizontal to one (1) vertical shall be solid sod and <br />pegged. Dedicated County road right-of-way shall be restored with <br />solid sod if disturbed during construction. <br />M. Bridges. All bridges shall: <br />1) be designed in general accordance with the current <br />standards and practices of the Department of <br />Transportation <br />2) be designed for Department of Transportation's <br />H -20-S16-44 loading standard <br />3) be constructed of reinforced concrete. Other low <br />maintenance materials may be used if approved by the <br />Public Works Director and the Board of County <br />Commissioners. <br />4) include provisions for utility installation <br />5) have a clear road width, between curbs, of two (2) <br />feet on each side in excess of the pavement width <br />6) include a continuation of the sidewalk -bikeway plan <br />established for the right-of-way <br />7) include adequate erosion protection. <br />N. Storm and Floodwater Systems. A stormwater manage- <br />ment system or, if applicable, a floodwater protection-stormwater <br />management system shall be constructed in accordance with the <br />requirements of the Indian River County Stormwater Management and <br />Floodwater Protection Ordinance. <br />O. Signs. All street signs erected on the subdivision <br />site shall conform to the requirements of the Indian River County <br />Sign Ordinance. <br />P. Planned Developments. Planned Developments, if <br />approved by the Board, shall be in conformance with the require- <br />ments of the Indian River County Zoning Regulations and the Land <br />Use Element of the Indian River County Comprehensive Plan. <br />Q. Fire Hydrants. Fire hydrant systems shall be pro- <br />vided in all subdivisions served by a water system. The hydrants <br />and water supply systems shall be located, designed and installed <br />in conformance with the rules of all applicable regulatory <br />-60- <br />
