day and was told that everything was fine, but then at the <br />fifth week, the Judge wanted the carpeting taken out. Mr. <br />Storm stated .that he tried to find out the name of the <br />vinyl, but even with vinyl, adhesive has to be used. <br />Commissioner Wodtke wondered if there was a company <br />that had non -allergenic carpeting and would guarantee it. <br />Mr. Storm felt that would be a hard statement for a <br />company to make. He advised that no two allergy patients <br />were the same, and he felt no company would say that their <br />carpeting was absolutely guaranteed. Mr. Storm noted that <br />the glue seemed to be the biggest problem; that was why they <br />switched to using tack strips. He stated that the carpet <br />that was used in Judge Stikelether's office is now stored in <br />the storeroom. Mr. Storm advised that he made inquiries to <br />the government concerning this problem and received their <br />recommendations, such as what was used at a health care <br />facility. <br />Discussion followed about leaving the room with just <br />the concrete floor. <br />Commissioner Lyons commented that Judge Stikelether <br />said that he was not going to tell us what to put in the <br />Courtroom. <br />Commissioner Wodtke withdrew his Motion. <br />Commissioner Fletcher withdrew his Second. <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Fletcher,that the Board approve <br />Alternative A, as indicated in the memo of <br />July 23, 1982, with the understanding.that this <br />is a suitable courtroom and offices and that <br />they will be used. <br />Dr. Hardin noted that all the Board was recommending <br />was that Courtroom C and the offices will be put back in <br />shape and that they will be used. <br />AUG 4 1982 56 ba 50 BALL 7 <br />L � <br />
