The Engineer will provide the County with <br />all property surveys, detailed and legal descriptions, maps, draw- <br />ings, and other necessary information to aid the County in acquir- <br />ing the necessary right-of-way. <br />D. The County shall be responsible for obtaining only <br />those permits required to perform the work to complete the project <br />if such permit requirements are established by regulatory agencies <br />after the date of this agreement. All permits required by regula- <br />tory agencies for the completion of this project which are <br />required by law as of the effective date of this agreement shall <br />be applied for and obtained by the Engineer and constitute a part <br />of basic services for which Engineer shall receive his lump sum <br />payment. <br />E. The County shall make all provisions for Engineer to <br />enter upon public or private property as required for Engineer to <br />perform his services. <br />F. The County will promptly execute all permit applica- <br />tions necessary to expedite the acquiring of any local, State or <br />Federal permits made necessary.by the project. <br />SECTION II - PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />The Engineer agrees to perform all necessary profes- <br />sional engineering services and other services in connection with <br />the project as required to implement the recommendations of the <br />"Sixteenth Street Traffic Improvement Plan" as approved, amended, <br />and revised by the Indian River County Board of County <br />Commissioners and the Transportation Planning Committee as set <br />forth in the following; <br />A. Study and Report Phase <br />(1) Engineer recognizes that County forces have <br />completed.some preliminary engineering services with respect to <br />this project, contained within a report titled "Sixteenth Street <br />Traffic Improvement Plan" prepared by the Indian River County/City <br />of Vero Beach Traffic Engineering Division. Engineer will <br />endeavor not to duplicate the work done to date on the project. <br />After written authorization to proceed, the Engineer shall consult <br />with County to clarify and define County's requirements for the <br />M <br />
