PURCHASING DEFINITIONS <br />(CONTIN"UED- PURCHASING--MFINITIONS ) <br />11. BIDDING DOCUMENTS - Include the advertisement or <br />invitation to bid, instructions to bidders, bid <br />forms, proposed contract documents including any <br />Benda- issue prior tapt of bides <br />12. A BID LIST - is a list of vendors maintained by the <br />Purchasing Division, listing vendors by the types <br />of products or services they sell. <br />13. A BLANKET PURCHASE ORDER - is issued for the <br />purchase of miscellaneous items of materials, <br />supplies, and parts, for using departments in <br />instances where the quantity cannot be anticipated <br />or where it is not practical or feasible to provide <br />adequate s orage. <br />14. BOARD - means the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida. <br />15. CONSULTANTS COMPETITIVE—NE OTIATION CT (CCNA <br />Request for Professional Service in compliance with <br />CCNA F.S.S. 287.055. <br />16: A CHANGE ORDER--is-writtentoamendan- origin <br />al <br />purchase order authorizing any change in the work <br />or in the contract. <br />17. A CONTRACT - is an agreement between two or more <br />—parties—to do something_ which -is set forth in <br />writing and is enforceable by law. <br />18. CONFIRMING PURCHASE ORDER - is a purchase order <br />placed verbally or otherwise for goods or services <br />prior to the formal issuance of a purchase document <br />against encumbered funds. <br />19. REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (CCNA) - is a method of <br />procurement whereby qualified professional firms <br />are invited to submit qualifications under CCNA. <br />20. COMMODITIES - any article of commerce bought and <br />sold, often specified. <br />21.
