ARTICLE SIX <br />PROCUREMENT OF SERVICES <br />6.8 (CONTINUED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES) <br />B. Ali general services above mandatory bid amount <br />whereby a price and other criteria may be <br />quantitatively evaluated should be acquired by <br />invitations for bid or request for proposals. The <br />request for proposals shall indicate the evaluation <br />criteria and the evaluation is to be made. The <br />award of all general services shall be made by the <br />appropriate awarding authority. <br />C. AWARD. All formal multi-party contracts equal to <br />or above the Mandatory Bid Amount shall be awarded <br />by the Board and signed by the Chairman, Vice <br />Chairman, or as otherwise provided by the Board. <br />6.9 REQUIREMENTS OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS <br />A. PROCUREMENT EOUAL -TO-OR-EXCEEDING MANDATORY BID <br />AMOUNT. Procurements estimated to be equal to or <br />to exceed the mandatory bid amount shall be <br />procured by formally advertising requests for <br />letters of interest and the responses treated as a <br />formal bid. <br />6.10 PURCHASES OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICE (NON-CCNA) <br />Professional services, not subject to CCNA, shall be <br />procured utilizing these selection procedures for CCNA <br />that are deemed appropriate for the services sought; <br />provided, however that the fee restriction of CCNA shall <br />not apply_. <br />6.11 EMERGENCY <br />The Board of County Commissioners shall be empowered to <br />enter into a contract with a particular provider of <br />professional services not covered by CCNA or below CCNA <br />limits if no other firm or individual may reasonably <br />perform said services for the County. <br />6.13 FORMALITY OF RECEIPTS OF REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS AND <br />REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS <br />All formally solicited requests for proposals or <br />requests for -Qualifications shall be treated as formal--- <br />invitation <br />orminvitation for bids.
