Commissioner Fletcher felt is <br />the Board was going to protect people from themselves, they <br />should do it consistently. <br />Discussion continued, and it was determined that there <br />were 253 customers involved in the Laurelwood system. <br />Myra Taylor inquired how long the County would hold the - <br />deposit. <br />Administrator Wright responded that it would be <br />indefinitely. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously <br />agreed to close the public hearing. <br />Lengthy discussion ensued about the items that would be <br />covered in the resolution and in the agreement. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Wodtke, that the Board adopt <br />Resolution 82-112 terminating the water portion <br />of the water and sewer franchise granted to <br />Customer Services, Inc. incorporating the franchise <br />area into the County -wide water system and <br />authorizing the imposition of standard County <br />rates as of November 1, 1982. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. It <br />was voted on and carried with a vote of 3 to 1, <br />with Commissioner Fletcher voting in opposition. <br />
