Christie Demetrops, 156 Congress St., came before the <br />Board and advised that he owned 11 acres nearby and was <br />never notified of what was occurring in this area. <br />M. Cloud, interested citizen, expressed concern about <br />Lakewood Village having the assurance of protection if this <br />franchise was issued. <br />Mr. Pinto suggested adding to the franchise that 24 <br />hour service would be provided, if any problems occurred. <br />Brief discussion took place regarding the franchise and <br />it was determined that an as -built set of plans, along with <br />the new plans,would be required. <br />Engineer Dean Leuthje interjected that they would give <br />certification, and would get together with the County <br />Utilities Department regarding the plans. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously <br />agreed to close the public hearing. <br />Commissioner Bird stressed that it was important to <br />have inspections of the system. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Wodtke, that the Board adopt <br />Resolution 82-122 for the Pinestead Water and <br />Sewerage System Franchise; authorize the.signature <br />of the Chairman for the Franchise Agreement; <br />with the addition that there will be 24 hour <br />availability of service. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION.
