ORDINANCE 2012-029 <br />(dc) All parking studies at a minimum shall: <br />Cover at least a three-day period; <br />2. Cover at least three (3) site(s) having a similar mix of uses and design <br />characteristics as the proposed use; <br />3. Record occupied parking spaces within the study area at fifteen -minute <br />increments; <br />4. Record the information on a sketch; <br />5. Summarize the information for each day of the study and compile the <br />information for analysis; <br />6. Factor in a peak season demand; <br />7. Include an analysis section that states the parking demand number for each <br />use on each site, along with the average parking demand number for each use <br />studied (all sites). Said numbers shall include the fifteen (15) percent safety <br />factor in (d) below; <br />8. Include a conditions section which, based upon the data and analysis, <br />proposes a standard parking rate (a certain number of spaces per a certain <br />number of square feet gross building area) for a particular use category. <br />(ed) Fifteen (15) percent of the highest fifteen -minute accumulation period Mustshall be <br />added as a safety factor to the maximum number of spaces occupied during the <br />highest fifteen -minute period. <br />(fe) The signed and sealed parking accumulation study wi44shall be reviewed and <br />approved by the county public works director or his designee in coordination <br />withand the community development director or his designee and shall than be: <br />Th petition will the he forwarded to the planning and zoning commission for final <br />action.
