ORDINANCE 2012-029 <br />(43) Nurseries or greenhouses. One space per one hundred fifty (150) square feet of gross <br />floor area of enclosed buildings where merchandise is displayed or where <br />transactions occur. Pole barns, mist houses, shade houses, and accessory structures <br />shall not be included for purposes of determining parking requirements. <br />(44) Nursery schools, kindergartens, and child care facilities. One and one-half (1 1/2) <br />spaces per staff person (total number) required for the licensed capacity of the <br />facility pursuant to local or state agency staff ratio requirements. <br />(45) Packing house. One space per five hundred (500) square feet of gross floor area for <br />the first thirty thousand (30,000) square feet of building area and one space per one <br />thousand (1,000) square feet after the first thirty thousand (30,000) square feet. Up to <br />thirty (30) percent of the parking for the packing house may be fully sodded or <br />otherwise stabilized as approved by the public works director. <br />(a) Tractor trailer spaces, having a minimum dimension of fourteen (14) feet by <br />thirty (30) feet shall be provided at a rate of one space per two thousand <br />(2,000) square feet of gross floor area. <br />(b) Other associated uses within the packing house facility or complex shall <br />require parking as follows: <br />(1) Retail sales. One space per two hundred (200) square feet of gross <br />floor area; <br />(2) Office, administration, marketing. One space per three hundred (300) <br />square feet of gross floor area. <br />(46) Private club or country club. <br />(a) One space per three hundred (300) square feet of gross floor area, plus the <br />required parking area for each associated structure or use creating user <br />parking demand. <br />(b) Private clubs located within residential projects serving primarily on-site <br />users are required to provide one space per three hundred (300) square feet of <br />gross floor area, plus the required parking area for each associated structure <br />or use creating user parking demand. Up to twenty-five (25) percent may be <br />fully sodded or otherwise stabilized as approved by the public works director. <br />(47) Professional and general offices. One space per three hundred (300) square feet of <br />gross building area. <br />(48) Public parks, parks open to the public, and ew---private commercially operated <br />recreational complexes and associated structures not including stadiums.
