ORDINANCE 2012-019 <br />(3) Definitions. <br />(a) The definitions used in this section are included in Chapter 901. <br />(4) Applicability. <br />(a) The requirements, procedures and methodology for a traffic impact study contained <br />in this section shall apply to all conceptual, initial and final development orders and <br />concurrency determination applications in unincorporated Indian River County. <br />(b) Any municipal jurisdiction within Indian River County opting to have development <br />projects located within its municipal boundaries reviewed under the Indian River <br />County Concurrency Management System for Transportation shall be required to <br />follow the requirements, procedures, and methodology for the submission of a traffic <br />impact study contained in this section. <br />(5) Types of traffic impact studies. <br />(a) Small project (0-99 dail trips). <br />For projects generating less than one hundred (100) average daily trips, trips <br />will be assigned by the director of public works or his designee. <br />2. It will be the responsibility of the applicant or his engineer to determine and <br />demonstrate to the director of public works that the small project will <br />generate less than one hundred (100) average daily trips. A letter <br />documenting the appropriate trip generation rate(s) will suffice.
