APR 2 0 1983 <br />BOOK FACF <br />cost incurred for the employee and his/her dependents, if <br />currently covered, for medical purposes, for all costs recorded <br />after September 30, 1983. <br />13. INSURANCE. The County will have in effect insurance <br />coverage for the new Department including general liability, <br />errors and omissions, property damage, fire, automobile, worker's <br />compensation and other insurance as necessary to minimize, if not <br />hold completely harmless, the City of Vero Beach from any claims <br />due to the operation of the Building Department. Each underlying <br />'insurance should have an umbrella policy bringing coverage up to a <br />minimum of $5,000,000 aggregate loss. <br />14. TRANSFER DATE. The new Department will be created <br />as of 00:01 A.M. October 1, 1983. All payroll time sheets, insur- <br />ance and fringe benefits shall be changed from the City.to the <br />County as of that time. Payroll should be continuous to the <br />employee with both the City and the County insuring no loss of pay <br />to the transferred employee. <br />15. DISSOLUTION. Either of the governing bodies may <br />initiate proceedings to dissolve this Agreement upon a one (1) <br />year notice to the other. Such notification shall be in writing <br />and will clearly stipulate the reasons for requesting dissolution <br />and the date it intends the dissolution to be effective, <br />(1) If less than three (3) years has elapsed since the <br />formation of the Department, all inventory, equip- <br />ment, personal property and other supporting equip- <br />ment belonging to each govermental agency will be <br />transferred to that agency in accordance with the <br />ownership defined for the asset. <br />(2) After three (3) years has elapsed, assuming formal <br />transfer has taken place from the City to the <br />County, an inventory will be taken of all assets of <br />the Department. Each item will be identified as to <br />its respective proportional use to each governing <br />agency and an assignment made either to the City or <br />County.
