MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Scurlock <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Lyons, that the <br />Board accept the recommendation of staff <br />and approve the reduction of the lease <br />payment this year in the amount of $999, <br />leaving one dollar to be paid for rent by <br />St. Francis Manor; subject to the Manor <br />complying with the five procedures recom- <br />mended by the Finance Dept. in memo dated <br />April 28, 1983. <br />Commissioner Wodtke raised a question about solici- <br />tation from civic clubs for the meals program, and. Mr. Zorc <br />reported that a $200 monthly donation earkmarked for the <br />meal program has been received from the St. Vincent DePaul <br />Society, which sponsored the beginning of the Manor. Since <br />then, the Society which is a charitable organization,, <br />has <br />supported the Manor in any way they can. Mr. Zorc stressed <br />again that the Manor does not solicit donations, but does <br />accept them when they are offered. <br />The Chairman CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />The Motion was voted on and carried 5-0. <br />Mr. Zorc wished to state for the record that he felt <br />that the questions brought up by the Vero Beach Civic <br />Association could have been answered in a few minutes by a <br />phone call to St. Francis Manor <br />PUBLIC HEARING - PETITION PAVING OF PORTIONS OF 23rd AVENUE <br />The hour of 9:00 o'clock A.M. having passed, the Deputy <br />Clerk read the following Notice with Proof of Publication <br />attached, to -wit: <br />31 <br />Y 4X9 3 Wx ra 3 7 <br />
