tea. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Lyons who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Scurlock and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was <br />as follows: <br />Chairman Richard N. Bird - Aye <br />Vice -Chairman Don C. BIRD <br />Chairman <br />Attest: s/ Freda Wright <br />FREDA WRIGHT, Clerk <br />DEED TRANSFERRING DOUGLAS SCHOOL TO FLORIDA HEALTH GROUP <br />Attorney Brandenburg reported that he prepared a <br />Quit -Claim Deed for the Douglas Elementary School site <br />conveying the property to the Florida Community Health <br />Centers, and sent a copy of the draft to Mr. Diaz of the <br />Health Group, as well as to Mrs. Ingram, President of the <br />West Wabasso Progressive Civic League. Mr. Diaz has <br />submitted this to their attorney, who would like to take <br />some time to discuss the deed with their Board of Directors. <br />They have several concerns; for instance, if a federal or <br />state agency funds them to build a new structure on the <br />site, there are no provisions for a successor organization <br />that performs the same function to come in and succeed them <br />should they ever be dissolved.
