t <br />Community Development Director Bruce King presented a <br />listing of the proposed fee increases, which were initiated <br />by the County Commission during the July budget meetings. <br />Director King explained the following corrections: <br />page 1 of Attachment -1,, under "Major Modifications", <br />the proposed fees should read, "same as original fee". <br />page 3 of Zoning Department, under "Publications", add <br />"storm water management" and insert fees to read: <br />Current Fee Proposed Fee <br />Zoning Ordinance 12.50 15.00 <br />Subdivision Ord. 3.00 15.00 <br />Comprehensive Plan 15.00 25.00 <br />Misc. Ordinance 1.00 5.00 <br />Storm Water Management 12.00 15.00 <br />Chairman Bird asked what the reason was for the <br />increases and Director King explained that in some cases the <br />charges do not even cover the copying charges and they would <br />like to recoup some of the charges. <br />Administrator Wright stated they would like to put the <br />increases in effect as soon as possible, and Director King <br />advised it could be done today by resolution. <br />Discussion followed re the total additional revenue <br />anticipated from the increased fees for 1983-84, and <br />Director King stated $107,980. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Lyons <br />SECONDED by, Commissioner Bowman, that the <br />Board adopt Resolution 83-57 to approve <br />the restructuring and increasing of fees <br />charged by the Planning and Zoning Departments <br />of Indian River County Community Development <br />Division. <br />31 <br />is54 PAGE 204 <br />AUG 3 190 <br />
