0 <br />F.E.C.Ry Bridge, crossing said river. <br />A.E.Sueverkruebbe appeared before the Board regarding taxes on his property for <br />the year 1930. H e was advised no action could be taken by this Board. <br />The following resolution was offered: <br />w EREAS the Fine & Forfeiture iilund of this County has been for several months <br />last past delpleted and considerable number of approved bills remain on file and unpaid <br />on account of insufficient revenue, and <br />WHEREAS no expenditures are being made out of the Agricultural and Publicity Funds <br />of the County, and this Board has definitely determined that no expenditures will be <br />made during the remainder of this budget year, and <br />wHEREA3 there appears a surplus of $280.00 in the iAgricultural Fund and $440.00 <br />in the Public*ty Fund, <br />THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners that such amounts <br />be transferred from the Funds named to the Fine & Forfeiture Fund of the County, and the <br />entire mount, when transferred be used to apply on bills for feeding prisoners in <br />jail. Such transfer to be made only on the approval of the Comptroller. <br />Upon being put to a vote, the same was unanimously adopted. <br />The Tax Collector was requested to make distribution of all 1930 taxes collected up <br />to .April 15th,1931 and to distribute all 1929 taxes he has collected to date. <br />The Deputy Sheriff bond of 0. Roach, Jr., in the sum of U1.000.00 with Ormond Taylo; <br />and C.R.P-cClure, as sureties was approved. <br />The Notary Public Bond of 1+'. W. Heiser, Fellemere, in the sum of $500.00 with the <br />American Surety Company, a corporation was approved. <br />The Notary Public bond of George Kenneth Murdock in the sum of $500.00 with the <br />Columbia Casualty Company, a corporation, as surety was approved. <br />It was moved, seconded and carried that the order made March 3rd 1931 for the Road <br />Superintendent to purchase,a,car of culvert pipe from C.C.Daley be rescinded. <br />it was moved, seconded and carried that the Road Superintendent order culvert pipe <br />as and when needed at and for the best price available. <br />Commissioner Eli C. Walker, introduced the following resolution and.moved its <br />adoption: <br />'REAS, This Board has and still is renting the up -stairs of the building located <br />on Lots 18 to <br />21, <br />inc., <br />Block 47 <br />Original Town of <br />Vero, <br />for Court House <br />purposes, <br />and, <br />VIHERFA 9 <br />the <br />Clerk <br />reports <br />to this Board that <br />the <br />sum. of 02550.00 <br />is now due <br />in <br />rents to the owners of said building; and such Clerk further advises this Board that <br />the State and County taxes on said building for the years 1928, 1929 and 1930 has not <br />been paid, all <br />of which <br />is delinquent; and <br />this Board <br />having ascertained that the 1928 <br />and 1929 taxes <br />and cost <br />and charges amount <br />to the sum <br />of $2205.99, TBFMFORE, <br />BE 1T RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners that the sum of $2205.99 be pais <br />at t4is :time crit �tho„t.,suc amount be used to pay the 1928 and 1929 taxes and charges, anc <br />the bialance due on the rents of 1;344.01 be retained by this Board and applied on the <br />delinquent 1930 State and County taxes, and further that future rents to the amount of <br />$572.99 be retained by this Board as such rents becomes due, and applied on said 1930 <br />taxes, making a total of .q�917.00 the entire amount of 1930 taxes now due and delinquent. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the receipts as issued for such taxes be mailed or <br />delivered to the duly authorized agent of such owners of said property. <br />Upon being put to a vote the same ms unanixcously adopted. <br />The following Road petitions were received and read: <br />1 <br />1 <br />I- <br />
